Built exclusively for Cisco Catalyst 9800

Stop guessing why the Wi-Fi is slow. See it. Solve it.

WLCRS is the on-premise wireless intelligence platform for teams running mission-critical Cisco environments — turning raw controller data into clear answers, real alerts, and an audit-ready record. One VM. Zero cloud dependency. Read-only on your WLC.

Architecture Single Linux VM. Read-only on your WLC. No agents, no config push.
Data residency 100% on-premise. Telemetry never leaves your LAN.
Time to value From install to first dashboard in under 30 minutes.
Cisco-native Purpose-built for Catalyst 9800 controllers and IOS-XE.
The shift

Your controller already knows what's wrong. WLCRS makes it impossible to miss.

Wireless problems hide in plain sight — buried inside thousands of telemetry points, scattered across CLI sessions, and rarely caught until someone complains. We close that gap.

▽ Without WLCRS
  • 01
Tickets pile up before anyone notices the controller is degraded.Mean time to detect: hours, sometimes days.
  • 02
RF problems are guessed at over the phone, not measured."It worked yesterday" is the diagnosis.
  • 03
Compliance audits become weekend archaeology projects. No record of what changed, when, or why.
  • 04
Rogue and malicious devices linger unseen. The WLC sees them. Nobody is listening.
△ With WLCRS — the solution
  • 01
Every controller and every AP, scored and tracked every 60 seconds.Anomalies surface the moment they begin — not after.
  • 02
RF Health and Client Experience as plain numbers your team can act on.Stop debating, start fixing.
  • 03
Two years of history, retained automatically. Audit-ready PDF in one click.Compliance becomes a checkbox, not a project.
  • 04
Real-time alerts to email and Telegram. Daily executive summary, every morning.Your team sleeps. WLCRS doesn't.
Built for high-stakes wireless

Five environments where bad Wi-Fi is not an option.

Every venue has a different definition of "the network is down." WLCRS speaks all of them — by reading what your Cisco fabric is already telling you.

01 / Hospitality

Hotels & Resorts

From the lobby to the last suite
Guest reviews live and die on Wi-Fi quality. WLCRS scores every floor and every room cluster, surfaces dead zones before the front desk hears about them, and gives you the history to defend SLAs with brand standards.

02 / Aviation

Airports

Concourses, gates, lounges, ops
Tens of thousands of devices, multiple SSIDs, zero tolerance for outages near boarding. WLCRS gives airport network teams a per-pier view of health, isolates interference at the gate level, and keeps a tamper-evident record for audit.

03 / Sport

Stadiums & Arenas

Match-day reality, not lab numbers
High-density wireless during a 90-minute peak is its own discipline. WLCRS tracks channel conflict, airtime, and per-section client experience in real time — so the network ops booth knows what fans feel before social media does.

Large Venue Events

Conferences, expos, festivals
Pop-up wireless with a one-shot deadline. WLCRS gives you a portable, on-prem command center: install on a VM, connect to the WLC, and walk in knowing every session, every hall, every speaker stage is covered before the doors open.

Corporate Offices

HQ campuses to regional sites
Hybrid work made wireless a tier-1 service. WLCRS gives IT a defensible answer to "is it the Wi-Fi?" — by showing per-floor, per-meeting-room health, who's on what AP, and whether the experience score actually moved.

What you get

One platform. Six answers your network team is tired of guessing.

Every WLCRS install ships with the same six pillars — already wired up, already collecting, already alerting from cycle one.

Real-time monitoring

Every controller, every AP, every radio — refreshed each cycle. Live counts, live trends, live anomalies.

Always-on

RF Health Score

A single 0–100 number per AP, broken down into noise, channel utilization, TX power and SNR. No more dashboards full of dials nobody reads.

Per-AP

Client Experience

What it actually feels like on the device — scored per client, rolled up per AP, surfaced as the worst offenders so you fix the real pain.

Per-client

Rogue & threat watch

Surfaces what your controller's intrusion engine already detects — and pages you the second a malicious device shows up on the air.

Security

AI Advisor

Fifty-plus best-practice checks running every cycle — each finding paired with a copy-paste fix and an impact score. Configuration drift, solved.

55+ rules

Reports & alerts

One-click PDF for any date range up to two years. Email and Telegram alerts with tunable digests. A daily morning summary, automatically.

Audit-ready

Spectrum & CleanAir

Non-Wi-Fi interferers — microwaves, Bluetooth, video bridges — visualized per AP, per band. Air-quality history that actually goes back.

Wide-band

Channel conflict map

Co-channel and adjacent-channel interference, ranked by severity, with TX-power proximity logic so you don't chase ghosts on opposite sides of the building.

From box to dashboard

Four steps. Under thirty minutes. Nothing leaves your network.

WLCRS is delivered as a single appliance image. We install, point it at your Cisco controllers, and you're collecting before lunch.

STEP 01
Provision

One Linux VM. Two cores, four gigs of RAM. Your existing virtualization stack is plenty.

STEP 02
Connect

A read-only account on each Cisco 9800 controller. WLCRS never pushes config — it only listens.

STEP 03
Observe

The first cycle completes within sixty seconds. Dashboards populate, alerts arm, history begins.

STEP 04
Operate

Your team sees what the controller sees. Email, Telegram, PDF — wired up out of the box.

Common questions

Quick answers, before you book the call.

Will WLCRS make any changes to my controllers? +
No. WLCRS is strictly read-only. It uses a privilege account on your Cisco Catalyst 9800 controllers to read telemetry — it never pushes configuration, never reboots APs, never writes anything back to the controller.
Does any data leave our network? +
No telemetry leaves your LAN. WLCRS is a single Linux VM you host. The only outbound traffic is what you opt into — alert email, optional Telegram notifications — and only to destinations you configure.
How is WLCRS different from Cisco DNA Center / Catalyst Center? +
It's complementary, not competitive. WLCRS focuses on continuous wireless intelligence — scoring, anomaly detection, audit history and operator alerts — in a single lightweight appliance. Many of our customers run it alongside their existing Cisco management tooling.
Which Cisco platforms are supported? +
WLCRS is purpose-built for Cisco Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers running modern IOS-XE. We're Cisco-exclusive on day one — that focus is what lets us go deep instead of wide.
How big does my deployment have to be? +
From a single 9800-CL all the way to multi-controller, multi-thousand-AP deployments. Licensing is per AP count and is portable between controllers. Resource requirements scale predictably with your fleet size.
What about the Cisco Spaces integration? +
It's our flagship next release. Customers on a current license get it as part of their subscription. We're working with a small group of design-partner sites — happy to discuss inclusion on the demo call.
